The FlexTab provides restaurants a lighter version of the RMS that can travel freely. This solution enables your wait staff to focus on the customers even more as they no longer need to go to a fixed station to enter the orders. Enable your managers to perform their functions while on the floor or in the back in real time.
The FlexTab is developed to integrate tightly with the FoodTronix Restaurant Management System (RMS), allowing centralized order processing, data administration and reporting. Feature functionality in this solution includes optimized waiter functionality, security, and in-store POS integration.
Remove another unnecessary step from your processes. With our wireless solution, your wait staff can process orders right at the table, without the need to repetitively visit the POS station.
The power point of the FlexTab is the simple fact that it is wireless. Empower your staff to perform their duties without breaking their focus for data entry.
Here and Now
As the wait staff will not be tied to a POS station, they will be on the floor, more accessible to service your guests. Additionally order memorization is a thing of the past.
Instead of writing down the order, or trying to memorize it, your wait staff sends orders to the back immediately. This removes the added step of re-translating the order into the POS station.
Simply said, this style of order processing is cool. The guests immediately see your operation using these sleek devices and will cause curiosity. Chances are they will bring some friends just to see this neat new contraption at work.
The FlexTab is designed in a manner to optimize the compact screen space available for the wait staff.
Mini-RMS Wait Staff Mode
The FlexTab provides a graphic layout very similar to the RMS layout that your staff is used to seeing. As the screen sizes are smaller, the layout is further optimized for essential functions to be quickly accessed.
Send orders to the closest bar or kitchen based on the zone setting of the wireless device.
The FlexTab utilizes both security features from the RMS and industry developed standards to keep your system safe. Using layered security technology, we keep unwanted devices from connecting, listening and accessing your data.
In the same manner as provided by the RMS, the FlexTab has employee logins with user restrictions. Even employees who are authorized to use the devices are still prevented from accessing features in the FlexTab which you have not granted them access.
RMS Device Security
All devices must be registered and authorized at the RMS Server. Unregistered devices will be completely denied the option to even connect to your system.
Multiple levels of WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) are available to ensure the wireless data is scrambled using industry standard encryption technology required for PCI Compliance regarding wireless devices.
Centralized, Fast, Reliable, Flexible
The FlexTab is built utilizing the powerful FoodTronix Restaurant Management System (RMS) technology. Receive the benefits of only using one system to interact with data from both systems.
Orders placed with the FoodTronix Mobile are routed in the exact same manner as done by the RMS.
The RMS reports account for FoodTronix Mobile activity along with RMS activity, giving you a complete view on how all your customer touchpoints are performing.
Any updates made in the RMS are automatically sent to the FlexTab instantly. Rest easy in knowing the remote printer change or price change you made is correctly set throughout your restaurant.
Fast & Reliable
Rest easy in the knowledge that if the Internet goes down, your POS remains up and running. Unlike most mobile POS systems, FlexTab uses an in-store commercial Microsoft SQL Server which eliminates the need for a mandatory Internet and hands-down out-performs nearly all cloud-base POS solutions simply due to its in-store proximity.
FlexTab is based on the Android platform, allowing for a myriad of device selections at varying prices, sizes, colors and shapes. Unlike Apple's iOS platforms and products, Android operates as an open market product allowing for more innovation and growth potential for its user-base.
